Minnetrista Farmers Market started the first week of May, 2009. This market is from 8-12 each Saturday, and 4-6 each Wednesday. It continues through the last week of October. There are also winter markets, INDOORS in the main building in the cantina room they start at 9 am and last until 12. We are located in space #52 during the summer season, just to the north of the courtyard and orchard shops. Look for my funky hat!
There's also an excellent market at Yorktown at the public library on highway 32, right across the street from the school at the stoplight. It's from 4-7 each Friday afternoon and it's continuing as long as weather permits.
Right now, we're selling bananas and tropical plants, perennials, sprouting seeds, onions, fresh produce, and houseplants. Please stop by and check out our selections.
Are you afraid I'll sell out of your favorite tomato or pepper plants next spring? looking for something you just couldn't find this spring? e-mail me at northerntropics@sbcglobal.net and pre-order your plants.
For your convenience, we now accept visa and mastercard at the farmers market and at the greenhouse. Our hours and contact information are listed on the contact page.
